The animation is about how as humans, we have the desire to make and create with our hands. However, capitalism has taken over mundane tasks, losing their true meaning, leading to purpose and enlightenment.
The colors orange and blue represent enlightenment, while red, pink, and purple represent the strength and passion of people.
Animations are created in After Effects and Procreate—sound mixed in Audition from three friends speaking then edited in Premiere.
My inspiration derived from Dan Deacon's "When I Was Done Dying" collaboration with nine animators and "Time" by Akira The Don and Alan Watts.
